Jared started his
career in the framing industry in 1991 in Australia,
specializing in the area of sales, equipment training &
full-time as a product & marketing manager for Megawood
Larson-Juhl Australia, and part-time as an international
educator and sales consultant for GUNNAR International,
based in Switzerland.
Keeping up ahead
of industry advancements in technology, as well as the
changing methods & techniques of framing, Jared has always
been in the vital position of offering technical support and
education to both new & experienced framers across the
broad and intimate working knowledge and understand of the
framing & graphics industry, from manufacturing & wholesale
distribution, to commercial and retail framing, Jared has
been integral in helping develop and improve many recognised
businesses across our industry, around the globe.
over 100 seminars as an educator and a keynote speaker to
large audiences of 200+ people, Jared has lectured to
thousands of framers around the globe in countries such as
Australia, New Zealand, USA and Singapore for different
tradeshows and educational events on behalf of the
Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA), the Fine
Art Trade Guild in New Zealand, as well as speaking on
behalf of industry leading companies such as Larson-Juhl,
Nielsen Bainbridge, GUNNAR and Cassese.
In 2015 Jared was
privileged to become the first western industry educator to
be given the opportunity to teach at the AFAExpo in Beijing,
In 2016, Jared
was the industry's most published writer across the globe.
Jared is a
regular columnist for Picture Framing Magazine and
has written over 100 published articles for most of the
major industry publications across the globe including
Décor Magazine, PPFA News, Profile Magazine,
Aspect Magazine & Digital Reproduction. He
has also authored the book "Getting the most value
from your CMC" which is the industry's most popular
reference guide for CMC users.
Jared is well
know to most Australian framing businesses, working at the
cutting edge of the industry's CMC revolution as it
happened, and was responsible for installing the first
computerized mat cutters in Australia.

& education, and freely dedicates his time a committee
member on the board for the Professional Picture Framers
Association in Australia.

was also honored to be elected to serve on the International
